A note from Kathe Wimberly, founder and owner of Triangle Embroidery.

Welcome - and thank you for visiting our website! Triangle Embroidery is a full service embroidery and garment printing business, that also offers custom made quilts and fun little photo totes, as well as quilting supplies at fantastic prices.

How I got here:  My quilting passion began several years ago when I wanted to give a special 80th birthday gift to my Grandmother. She has been a quilter for as long as I can remember, so the idea of a photo quilt seemed perfect. I collected treasured photos of my Grandmother from everyone I could think of, made her birthday quilt, and have been hooked ever since.  Looking back on that quilt, I sure wish I knew then what I know now!  But my dear Grandmother adores her rickity old quilt and wouldn't trade it for anything. 

After making the special quilt for my Grandmother, I started making theme quilts for different charities.  As popularity for these fabulous quilts grew, I started selling them to fund the charity work.  In addition to supporting these gift quilts, a portion of the proceeds from our quilt sales are donated to various charities, in support of diabetes, alzheimers, cancer, pediatric and animal rescue organizations.

Triangle Embroidery has grown from a small, home-based quilting business into it's own storefront, offering embroidery, screen printing, dtg/direct to garment printing, and of course our treasured custom made quilts and photo purses.  We outfit sports teams, work with schools on their uniforms, restaurant management and staff uniforms, as well as corporate apparel and special events.  We also work with individuals that need just one item monogrammed or embroidered.
